The American Red Cross, as one of the nation's premier humanitarian organizations, is dedicated to helping people in need throughout the United States and, in association with other Red Cross societies, throughout the world. Your local chapter, under the direction of it’s seventeen member board of governors, work to provide relief to victims of disasters and help prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies here in our own local community.
Our Mission
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its congressional charter and the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

Family fund raiser
Spring Ice Breaker
March 31, 2012 at the Putnam County Fair grounds Merchant Building 2pm- 1:00am.
$2.00 admission 12 and under free. Games, food and adult beverages and entertainment will be available

Next disaster meeting
The next disaster team meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 in the conference room at the Annex Building.

Families needing assistance in contacting military personnel for an emergency, call toll free

Health and Safety Classes Changes
Beginning immediately, anyone wishing to register for a health and safety class may do so by calling 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767) or by going on the website, www.redcross.org. and clicking on "Take a Class". You may pay with a debit or credit card.
