Services to Armed Forces
The Putnam County Red Cross is the communication liaison between the residents and the men and women of the Armed Forces serving all over the world. We contact the service personnel on behalf of family members who are facing emergencies or other important events. These communications are delivered around-the-clock, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Families needing to contact a member of the military due to an emergency may call 877-272-7337 in order to do so.
We continue to assist military families with emergencies and send care packages to men and women overseas. We are looking for updated contact information so we can send packages. If you know someone in the military, please call the office with the address so we can better serve our area. We also establish support groups for family and friends of the Armed Forces as well as receptions to create bonds and to connect with others in the county.
Check out A Brief History of the American Red Cross on the national Red Cross website and see how it has provided aid for our service men and women since 1881.
